Aliya Hotel, Klang

Looking for a reasonable hotel to stay in Klang?  Aliya Hotel is a good choice, depending on what you are looking for.  If you are looking for a location in Klang town, close to shopping centres, walking distance to food stalls, then yes, this is it.

The hotel, a 3 star, is reasonably clean and comfortable with good service provided by staff who are friendly and cheerful.  Apart from the wi-fi being in a sad state of connection and the rather poor lighting (too ‘romantic’ for a single person or family), the hotel is a good stay for those seeking reasonably priced hotel with comfort and cleanliness.

The room I booked was a Superior King room which boasted a king sized bed.  A chair and desk together with coffee making facilities and a wardrobe was more than I had bargained for, given it being a 3 star hotel.  The bathroom was rather clean and comfortable with hot & cold water, rain shower and normal shower.  However, do pack your toothbrush and paste as they are not provided, though soap & shampoo are.  The room has an iron and ironing board as well as a hair dryer, so, yes.  Reasonable for the price I paid.

Room service – food is from 3.30pm up to 10.30pm the latest.   I wonder if people do not order breakfast or lunch!!!  You can get local food like Chinese and Malay cuisines here though I wonder why there isn’t any Indian food.

A 3-5 minute walk takes you to restaurants and local stalls where you can get local food at reasonable if not cheap prices.  A basement parking with 24 hour guard service is available as well.   The hotel has a spa, gym, sauna and a pool at your disposal but I am going to refrain commenting on this as I used neither.

Recommended if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel that is clean, reasonably comfortable and with good service.

Not recommended if you are looking for a posh hotel with extreme comfort and facilities (especially food – room service).

The Journey Begins

Thanks for joining me!

In my blog, I will take you on my experience I had whilst travelling, be it at the place I stayed (accommodation), where I ate, the activities I did etc.

Reason for this is so you get an idea of what to expect should you visit the same place or decide to stay at the same accommodation.

Rest assured that the information I post is solely based on my personal experience but as far as I know and have been informed by friends and acquaintances, my feedback is very much reliable.

So feel free to read my write up and yes, please please do leave your comments or questions so I can read and reply to them.

Last but not least, don’t forget to have fun!
